33 new cases of Corona today in Bhatkal: 22 people recovered

Bhatkal: 28 August, 20: (Bhatkal News Bureau) Bhatkal has been witnessing an increase in Corona cases for the last two to four days. Yesterday 22 patients of Corona were found in Bhatkal while today 33 people from Bhatkal have received positive reports of Corona.  But the good news is that today 22 people from Bhatkal taluka recovered and got discharged from the hospital. According to the district administration, a total of 101 cases have come today in Uttar Karnataka, including 33 from Bhatkal, 19 from Sirsi, 11 from Honnavar, 10 from Karwar and Hilyal, 6 from Mundgod, 5 from Joida and 5 from Kumta.  2 cases have come from Ankola.  Similarly, 2 people have died from Corona today in Honnavar and 1 in Hilyal while 88 people have recovered and gone home in the last 24 hours. In all, a total of 4618 cases have been reported in Uttara Kannada district so far out of which 3434 people have recovered and 51 people have died.  At present, a total of 623 people are being treated in different hospitals in the district while 510 corona patients are isolated in their own homes who are being treated at their homes. It is to be noted that the state government is easing the restrictions in the coming days and trying to restore normalcy. The government has appealed to the people to abide by government directives and abide by all laws.  But it is seen that people in many places ignore the instructions of the government and cause themselves and others to perish due to their own whims, which is utter nonsense.
