31 students from Jamia Islamia complete memorization of the Holy Qur'an

April 01, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: 31 students from Jamia Islamia Bhatkal and its branches - Maktab Nawayat Colony, Maktab Chowk Bazar, Maktab Jamia Kargadde - completed their memorisation of the holy Qur’an this year. A ceremony was held at Jamia Islamia to celebrate their achievements. As per details, 26 students from Jamia Islamia Jamiabad, three students from Maktab Nawayat Colony, one each from Maktab Chowk Bazar and Maktab Jamia Kargadde completed the memorizations. Speaking at the occasion, Maulana Ilyas Jakti highlighted the importance and virtue of memorizing the Holy Quran. Apart from him, Jamia's Superintendent Maulana Maqbool Nadvi also gave beneficial speech pertaining to the situation. - ARF
