3 killed in a road accident near Shirali

Bhatkal – 13 Jan 2013: 3 person killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling hit the roadside tree at National Highway near Shirali. The impact of the accident was so powerful that, all the 3 persons died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Santosh Shetty (40), his wife Shikla Shetty (35) and Kirti Shetty (35). Bhatkal DySP Mr Sudhir Kumar Reddy rushed to the accident site along with his team after receiving the news of this accident and the dead bodies have been taken to Bhatkal Govt Hospital for conducting post-mortem with the help of locals.
