26 injured in a road mishap between KSRTC bus and truck at Kumta

Kumta 1 Januaury 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) At least 26 people were reported injured in a road accident between KSRTC bus and goods-laden truck here at Kumta National Highway on Tuesday. It has been gathered that, the KSRTC bus which was on its way towards Gokarna from Sagar, rammed into the truck that came from opposite direction while overtaking. As an impact of the accident, 25 passengers from the bus sustained minor injuries, while the truck driver's leg has been reported to have been severely injured. After first aid at Kumta Government hospital, the driver was soon rushed to Hospital at  Manipal for further treatment. A case has been registered at Kumta police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
