236 new cases of COVID-19 in Uttar Karnataka today: 82 people recovered

Karwar: September 9, 2020 (Bhatkally News Bureau) 236 new cases of COVID-19 have come to light in Uttara Karnataka today while 82 people have recovered and returned home in the last 24 hours. According to the district administration, 69 cases have been reported from Karwar, 33 from Ankola, 32 from Sadapur, 30 from Kumta, 27 from Honnavar, 27 from Yellapur, 16 from Hilyal and 4 from Sirsi.1 case has come to light from Bhatkal. 1 person has died in Ankola and 1 person in Honnavar today of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 patients in district has reached 6336 out of which 4520 people have recovered and gone home so far and 66 people have died.
