23-year-old woman in Bhatkal dies of dengue

15th June 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A 23-year-old, identified as Fatima Fiza (daughter of Saood Kandlur), a resident of Maghdoom Colony in Bhatkal, died of dengue fever in a private hospital in Mangaluru Monday morning. A source informed that Fatima reached Bhatkal on 4th June after spending around 1.5 months in Bengaluru after which she was admitted to a private hospital in Bhatkal on complaint of headache and fever. She was later shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru when she didn't show any signs of improvement. She could not however recover from her illness there too and succumbed to it Monday morning. -ARF
