22 injured in KSRTC bus, truck collision at Mundgod

Mundgod 29 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) One person died on the spot while five other sustained severe injuries after a KSRTC bus collided with a VRL truck here at Gonagodikoppa cross of Mundgod taluk on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as truck driver Damanna Hanumantappa Vaddar, a resident of Kalaghataghi taluk. According to the reports the KSRTC bus which was heading towards Sirsi rammed into a VRL truck that came from the opposite direction killing the truck driver on the spot and injuring 22 other passengers of the bus of whom five are said to be critical while other 17 escaped with minor injuries. Victims with major injuries were shifted to KIMS hospital in Hubli for further treatment. A case has been registered at Mundgod police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
