21 years old tribal woman who was being tortured by relatives for being 'Possessed', rescued by police

Zaorez Shabab Belagavi 04 Dec 2017: A 21 years old tribal woman identified as Yellavva Nagappa Bisukalvaddar, was rescued by the local police from the torture by her relatives who believed she was 'possessed' by an evil spirit. The onlookers when saw the lady being dragged to a black magician with her hands tied by rope informed the local media about the incident. A few local channels aired the visual on TV following which local police rushed to the spot and rescued her from the torture. The victim was taken to a local hospital in Athani, and was later shifted to Belagavi district hospital for further treatment.
