21-year-old motorcyclist crushed by lorry on Murudeshwar National Highway

March 03, 2016 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A youth riding on a bike was killed on the spot Thursday morning when a lorry collided with his bike head-on at Murudeshwar National Highway. According to sources, the lorry was heading towards Honnavar when it collided head-on with the motorcycle near Bina Vidya School on Murudeshwar National Highway killing the rider on the spot while the pillion rider had a lucky escape with minor injuries only. The victim was identified as Lokesh Manjunath Moger (21) while the pillion rider was identified as Sridhar. The corpse was handed over to the victim's kin after autopsy at the state-run hospital. A case was registered at Murudeshwar Police Station. - ARF
