21 TMC shops to go under the hammer in auction on October 25; Here's everything you need to know

Bhatkal: The Town Municipal Council will auction 21 of its shops for rent. The auction is set to take place on Monday, 25 October. A statement from Bhatkal TMC called on people willing to rent the shops, to participate in the auction and bid for the shops on Monday with all the related documents. The shops will be leased on rent for a period of 12 years. The press statement from the TMC further stated the shops that are set to go under the hammer on Monday are spread across the town including Sultan Street Road, Main Road, Basti Road, Rath Road among others. Those willing to take part in the auction will need to get a bond DD in the name of Bhatkal TMC’s Chief Officer from any nationalized bank on or before 5 pm on Friday, October 22. For the existing tenants of the Municipality shops, willing to take part in the auction, the Council has conditioned that they clear all their dues and taxes before taking part in the auction, in case of pending dues on their part, their participation in the auction will be terminated. People participating in auction have been asked to bring along their voter id cards and Aadhar cards to the auction. The statement further added that TMC’c decision on bids will be the final and binding to all the participants and the TMC will reserve complete right to approve or disapprove any bid by any participants.
