20-year-old dies in a road accident at Bhatkal

Bhatkal 8 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 20 year old youngster died on the spot after an unknown vehicle rammed into his bike and fled the scene here, near the Venkatapur bridge on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Mithun Moger, a resident of Belke. As per sources, when Mithum was riding his Yamaha FZ bike on National highway near Venktapur bridge, an unknown vehicle crashed into his bike and fled away from the spot. Mithun sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot. Local police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government hospital of Bhatkal for post mortem. A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
