2 youths injured in car-tipper-tanker crash on NH-66

May 22, 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: 2 youths sustained minor injuries when the car in which they were travelling collided first with a tipper and then with a tanker in front of Rafat Agencies on Bhatkal National Highway NH-66, a source informed. The injured were provided first aid treatment at the state-run hospital in Bhatkal and later sent home. A source informed that car was heading towards Madina Colony from Shamsuddin Circle when in a bid to overtake a tipper collided first with its tanker thereby loosing its stability due to which a tanker crashed into it from behind resulting into this accident. The car suffered extensive damage as a consequence of this crash but luckily the travelers escaped with minor injuries only. No case was registered related to this in police station. - ARF
