2 killed, 3 injured in tragic crash near Ankola

September 18, 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a tragic crash, two persons were killed on the spot and three persons were severely injured in a fatal crash that took place between Swift Car and a truck at Hebbul National Highway near Ankola Friday morning. The victims were identified as Fayyaz Ahmed Shabandari (20), a resident of Sultan Street in Bhatkal, and Syed Ahmed, a resident of Jamiabad Road. The injured were identified as Fazlur Rehman Shabandari, Javed Kola and Rinku who were shifted to Mangaluru after providing the requisite first-aid treatment. A source informed, that Fazlur Rehman was on way to Hubli to procure materials for his new house when their car collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction resulting into this accident. -ARF
