2 injured as bikes collide near Shamsuddin Circle in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Two persons have been injured when their bikes collided near Petrol Bunk located on Shamsuddin Circle in Bhatkal at around 8.30 pm today. It is said that the condition of one is critical.
As per sources, a bike was trying to enter the petrol bunk when a bike coming from the opposite direction rammed into it in a bid to save an auto-rickshaw due to which this accident took place.
The injured persons have been identified as Mohammed Saood s/o Abdul Mateen and Sufyan, a municipality staff.
Sufyan, whose condition is said to be very critical was provided first-aid treatment at Government Hospital Bhatkal and then later shifted to Mangalore.
