2 dies in a road accident on Ankola highway

Ankola - 19 Feb 2012: Two died and one injured in a horrifying road accident that took place here at National Highway near Ankola. According to the sources, the accident occurred when a Lorry hit the bike from behind and as a result of this collision, two persons identified as Gotham Alpekar (17) and his mother Veena Alpekar died on the spot. The accident scene was so horrifying that, their body parts were scattered on the road. According to the eye-witnesses, the Lorry driver didn't noticed this accident and the bike was dragged to few meters after it came under lorry's rear wheels.

A case has been registered in Ankola police staition and the investigation is going on.
