2 Bhatkali youth injured in a road accident near Kundapur

Bhatkal - 07 Aug 2012: Two Bhatkali youths were critically injured in a road accident that took place on NH 66 near Tarasi. The injured have been identified as Mohammed Rehab s/o Mohammed Ali Kadli (21) and Mohammed Raihan s/o Riyaz Shanu (21). According to the sources, they were heading towards Mangalore on their bike when a tipper truck coming from opposite direction knocked them down at National Highway near Tarasi at around 10:30 am. The truck driver fled the scene leaving behind critically injured youths on the road. They were taken to Kundapur hospital with the help of Ganguli youths who arrived afterreceivingthe news.

A case has been registered at Ganguli police station and the investigation is going on.
