131 Anjuman Students donate blood in Bhatkal

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 23 January 2017: Anjuman Art, Science and Commerce college and PG centre today organized an blood donation camp in association with Red Cross Society and Bharath Scouts. As per the reports around 131 college students donated their blood to show their full support for the noble cause organized by the management. Chief Guest of the event S Jaikar Shetty, spoke about the importance of donating blood and how it helps people to save lives.He also elaborated about the functioning of Red Cross society and how it carries out such social service across the Nation. BD Fernandes, also spoke in details about the contributions of Anjuman College towards Bharath Scouts. While Anjuman President Abdul Raheem Jukaku maintained that social service has been the part of the educational system of Anjuman and the institution is not only keen of producing academically good students but also helping them for being responsible citizen of the country. Javed Armar, Ishaq Shabandri and other members of Management were present at the event, which was held at the college function hall.
