11 feet cobra caught in Anjloor

Bhatkal - 17 April 2011: A 11 feet King cobra was caught here at Bhatkal's Anjloor village coming under Hadavalli gram panchayath limits. According to the sources, people spotted the cobra when it was trying to enter one of the houses and informed the forest department. The forest department officials with the help of 2 youths from Abu Ubaida colony Mibahul Haq and Ahmed Nauman who are famous for catching snakes, caught the Cobra and later released in the forest.

Speaking to bhatkallys.com representative, both youths Misbahul Haq and Nauman said that they are doing this since from five years. Whenever the forest department receives any information about snakes, they call us and we catch those snakes and hand it over to the department.
