1 student drowns in Murdeshwar sea

Bhatkal – 25 Nov 2012: A student from Bangalore drowned in Arabian sea at Murdeshwar while swimming. The incident occurred at 4:00 pm when a group of 8 students who arrived from Bangalore entered the sea. While playing 2 of them were swept away deep into the sea by a strong waves. Onlookers rushed to their rescue but it was too late and one of the student died on the way to hospital and the other one is in a serious condition. The deceased has been identified as Lokesh Kumar (22). A case has been registered at Murdeshwar police station. Bhatkallys News Service / Rizwan Gangavali
