1 killed as two trucks collide head-on at Navunda in Kundapur

March 13, 2016 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Kundapur: A truck driver was killed on the spot when two trucks collided head-on in a road accident at Navunda National Highway (NH-66) in the wee hours of Sunday. The victim has been identified as Mohammed Afzal (35), a native of Kerala. As per sources, one lorry laden with iron rods was heading towards Kundapur from Byndoor when it collided head-on in front of Vinayaka Hotel in Navunda with the second lorry that was heading towards Byndoor from Kundapur killing a truck driver on the spot. A case has been registered at Byndoor police station. - ARF
