1 killed, 1 injured in truck-motorcycle collision at Manki (NH-66)

Oct 18, 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A 35-year-old motorcyclist has been killed and 1 person has been injured severely when a speeding truck rammed into their motorcycle at Manki National Highway NH-66 Sunday evening, a source informed. As per sources, the motorcycle was heading towards Bhatkal while the truck was heading from Kundapur to Honnavar when it collided with the bike head-on. The deceased was identified as Krishna Naik, a resident of Sarpankatta and the injured was identified as Pradeep Achari, a resident of Alve Kode. Pradeep was shifted to a private hospital in Kundapur. A case has been registered at Manki Police Station. - ARF
