1 injures in a road accident on NH-66 near Nawayath Colony cross

Bhatkal - 14 Sep 2012: One injured in a road accident on NH-66 near Anfal Super Market today evening at around 5:00 pm. The incident occurred when a speeding car knocked down a child who was crossing the road. According to the sources, the driver of a car which was returning back to Udupi after visiting a Doctor in Honnavar applied an emergency brake when he saw a child in front of his vehicle.

The injured have been identified as Mohammed Yunus (12) s/o. Ayub Jubapu of Kargedde. He was admitted at Welfare Hospital for medical assistance.
