Massive crowd witnesses PM Modi's vibrant roadshow in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 14: A massive crowd gathered in Mangaluru to witness the roadshow of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on Sunday, April 14.

The event kicked off at Narayana Guru Circle at Ladyhill and concluded at Navbharath Circle. PM Modi was warmly welcomed at Narayana Guru Circle with an aarti ritual, followed by the garlanding of the statue of Narayana Guru before embarking on the roadshow.

The entire route was thronged with enthusiastic supporters eager to catch a glimpse of PM Modi. People could be seen enthusiastically chanting slogans in support of the PM and waving BJP flags.

Stringent security measures were implemented along the entire stretch from Narayana Guru Circle to Navbharath Circle. The area was adorned with colourful lights, LED displays, and high mast lighting arrangements, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Mangaluru was in support of Dakshina Kannada BJP candidate Capt Brijesh Chowta, and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru BJP candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary.

The event saw the presence of notable figures including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, district BJP president Sathish Kumpala, MLA Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty, Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja, Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, Mulky Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, Sullia MLA Bhaghirathi Murulya, and others.
