Mangaluru prepares for PM Modi's visit: Traffic diversions announced

Mangaluru, Apr 14: As Prime Minister Modi gears up for his participation in the road show from Narayana Guru Circle to Navabharath Circle on April 14, the city's police commissioner has issued traffic diversions to ensure smooth movement and security arrangements during the event.

The following traffic diversions will be implemented:

Traffic will be prohibited from Narayana Guru Circle to Hampankatta from the afternoon until the conclusion of the program in the evening.

Kolur Ferry Road to M G Road
KSRTC to PVS Circle via Bejai Church Road
Kottara Chowki to Narayana Guru Circle
Manngudda Junction to Narayana Guru Circle
Urva Market to Narayana Guru Circle
KSRTC to Narayana Guru Circle via Lal Bagh
Bunts Hostel to PVS, M G Road
KSRTC Road to Navabharath Circle
M G Road to Bejai Church Road

Parking arrangements:

Vehicles may be parked from Bajpe Airport to Narayana Guru Circle on both sides of the road.

On both sides of the road from Narayana Guru Circle to Hampankatta

From Hampankatta to Battagudda Road
From Kavoor to Kottara Chowki
From Hampankatta to KPT
From BG Junction to Bejai Church Road

Route diversions:

Vehicles arriving in Mangaluru from Udupi should proceed via Kottara Chowki, Kankanady Junction, and Clock Tower.
Vehicles from Pumpwell should proceed via Karavali Junction, Milagres Junction, and Clock Tower. Vehicles from Mangaluru to Pumpwell should proceed via Lady Goshen and Kankanady Junction.
Vehicles from Car Street and Kudroli should proceed via Mannagudde, Ashok Nagar, and Kodikal.
Vehicles from the Bejai Church side should proceed via KSRTC Junction to Kuntikan, and vehicles from Kuntikan should reach Bejai Church via KSRTC Junction.
