Eid-ul-Fitr in Bhatkal, Mangalore, Kerala on April 10

Bhatkal: 9 April 2024 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The moon sighting committee of Bhatkal on Tuesday announced the sighting of the crescent moon of Islamic month of shawal marking the end of holy month of Ramadan in Bhatkal.

Similarly Eid ul fitr will also be celebrated on Wednesday in Dakshina Kannada and parts of Kerala.

The sighting of the moon mark the end of 29 day fasting of Muslims across the world during the month of Ramadan.
