Two men abducted in daylight from Bhatkal

Bhatkal 20 January 2017: In an striking incident which left people of the town shocked, two men were allegedly kidnapped and taken off in a car from Bunder road fifth cross minutes before the Friday prayers.
As per the sources, The victims Afzal (33) and Abdul Malik (40) were at the Bunder road fifth cross at around 1.pm when suddenly three cars arrived and dragged both the victims into the cars from their bike and got away from the scene. The whole incident was reportedly witnessed by the labors of the nearby under-construction building and a few other residents who then reported the case.
Few eye-witness claimed, one of the three cars which arrived at the scene was of a local officer of the forest department, which led people to assume Forest department to be masters of the whole incident, but when the forest officer was contacted to inquire about the incident, he straightaway denied of any such activities by the forest department or him.
The whole incident has left the local people in a state of shock and dilemma, and has made them desperate to know the truth behind the whole scene. They have been left with nothing but to count on police to conduct an upfront and a pinpoint investigation in order to reveal the truth.
