Tahaffuz-e-Shariat conference a grand success in Bhatkal

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 21 December 2016:Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal organized a grand Public conference at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal campus on the topic of ‘Safeguarding of Shariat Law’ where thousands of people attended the conference including several prominent Islamic scholars. The conference was chaired by Moulana Syed Muhammad Rabeh Hussaini Nadvi. tanzeem-aam-ijlas-06 While taking a dig at Central Govt’s proposal of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in his address Moulana Rabeh Hussaini asserted that the constitution of India has given equal rights to all the citizens to follow their personal law, and the government cannot take away these rights from the citizens. He also sent a message through his address that any such interference (UCC) will not be tolerated by Muslims and that they shall be allowed to freely practice their personal law. He also maintained that unless the community implements Shariat law completely in personal lives, it cannot be safeguarded. Moulana Wali Rahmani, Gen. Secy. All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) presented a detailed report on the proceedings of action against UCC by the board. tanzeem-aam-ijlas-18 Touqeer Raza Khan, chairman Ittihad Milli council, in his address asserted that implementing UCC will never be an easy task because Muslims are not the only people are being troubled by this, and a sect of Non-Muslims are opposing it as well.
