PSI Basavaraj transferred from Bhatkal; Kusumadhara K takes charge as the new PSI of town

Bhatkal 28 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Basavaraj Sharanappa has been transferred from Bhatkal and Kusumadhara K has been appointed as the new PSI (I) of Bhatkal town, Kusumadhara took charge of the post on August 20, two days before the Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated in the town. Kusumadhara who was serving as the Sub-Inspector at Chittakula Police Station has already earned the reputation of being a 'strict' officer after a video of his verbal argument with local JD(s) leader Inayathullah Shabandri on the eve of Bakrid went viral on local social media groups. PSI Basavaraj Sharanappa, who was instrumental in regulating the traffic and one-way parking on Main road of Bhatkal under the supervision of CPI KL Ganesh and Dy.SP Valentine D'Souza, has now been transferred to Murdeshwar Police Station as the PSI. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Kusumadhara added, maintaining law and order and other regulated rules, with co-operation from Appaji Gondli (PSI II of Bhatkal town police station) and under the supervision of CPI KL Ganesh and Dy.SP Valentine D'Souza, will be his priority.
