Parwaz - a Naiti poet of great talent

Bhatkallys News Service | April12,2017 BHATKAL - In the  death of Mohammed Ali Parwaz, the Bhatkal community has lost a talented  poet whose  contributions to the development of Naiti  language and literature  has been appreciable.  He spent his life in Mumbai earning his livelihood and later shifted to Dubai before relocating to Bhatkal where his talent blossomed. Issues that touched his  heart strings influenced his  poetry. His famous poem 'Zara Pala Tumi Chadwa Haari' still reverberates in the minds of poetry enthusiasts. He  poured his  heart and reality in his  poems highlighting different perspectives. Last year, the Nawayath Mehfil  honoured him with  a sipasnama (citation) and a shawl at a public function held at IAUH School ground.
