North Kanara Muslim United forum Kumta distributes Academic awards

Bhatkallys News Service/ Special Correspondent Kumta 15 April 2017: North Kanara Muslim united forum Kumta unit, in n attempt to Honor academically excelled student of Kumta organized an event today at Madrasa-e-Muhammadia hall here in Kumta. The event which began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Muhammad Safwan, was presided over by the Forum's Kumta unit president, Muhammad Akbar Mulla. A total of 12 students from the region were honored for their academic performances. Out of which 10 students excelled in their SSLC examinations and two were from the second PUC examinations. The event was an attempt to encourage the Youth to take their academics seriously and to ignite an interest in them towards the Education. Forum's District Gen. Secy Mohsin Quazi, Kumta Muslim Association Vice President Abdul Shukur Shaikh, and other prominent personalities of Kumta including Abubakar Sarang, Hussain Saheb and others were present at the event.
