Members of Madeena Welfare Society and Haneefabad Welfare Association meet Assistant Commissioner, permanent solution to garbage issue sought

Bhatkal 18 July 2018: Members of Madeena Welfare Society and Hanif Abad Welfare Society of Bhatkal on Wednesday met and submitted a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Bhatkal urging him to provide basic facilities to the residents of their area which falls under the limits of Heble Panchayath. The memorandum stated that though the society had urged to provide the basic facilities like clean water, street lights and more importantly the garbage dumping solution in their previous memorandums, which are yet to draw any attention of the authorities. The delegation also quoted their previous memorandum they submitted on 08 March Taluka Panchayat regarding the basic issues of Madeena colony including the UGD connection and waste disposal and management issues which too went unanswered. The delegation on Wednesday sought permanent solution to the garbage dumping issue on priority as the monsoon has made the case worst and that disease spreading bacteria and mosquitoes have caused panic and a sense of concern among the residents.
