Madeena Welfare Society organises awareness program of government schemes

Bhatkal 30 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Madeena Welfare Soceity, Bhatkal on Thursday organised a awareness program for the residents to better understand the schemes and facilities provided by government, the event was held at the office of Madeena Welfare Society Bhatkal. During the event officials of Minority department and Tahsildar's office, addressed the event and explained several schemes and benefits to the attendees and urged them to stand benefited by the schemes and programs. Speaking on the occasion, Minority officer Shamsuddin Shaikh, added that there are a number of schemes and programs by the government designed for the minorities for their upliftment, a major part of which goes unattended and unoccupied, and hence there is a need to create awareness among the people to start making use of it. Shamsuddin stressed upon educational schemes throughout his address at the event and added that most of the courses that our students are interested in today have government scholarships, and we need to use it. Officials of Madeena welfare society also urged to support and help people in getting these scholarships and schemes and added that its members will accompany residents to the concerned departments and offices if they are facing difficulties in getting it. Madeena welfare society President Prof. Hashim Zarzari, Secretary Moulana Irfan, Political wing convener Rizwan Gangavali, Jali Patan Panchayath President Syed Aadam Panambur and others were present during the event.
