Independent candidates wins majority seats in Bhatkal Town Muncipalty Council election

Bhatkal 31 May 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) As the results for Bhatkal Town Municipality election was announced on Friday, Independent candidates bagged by Tanzeem emerged victorious over the Candidates from BJP and Congress Party. Among 23 wards of Bhatkal TMC, candidates from 12 wards were elected unanimously. While the election for remaining 11 wards was conducted. BJP won over 1 ward and congress took over 4 wards of TMC, While the independent candidates sweeped over 18 wards. The result of elected candidates are as follows. 1. Smt. Sabeena Taj, Independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.1 2. Sri Mohammed Parvez Kashimji, Independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.2 3. Smt. Priya Fernandes from INC got unanimously elected from ward no.3 4. Sri Ismail Imshad Muktesar Independent candidate won Against BJP Candidate Uday Naik with a margin of 78 votes for ward no.4 5. Sri Jagannath Gonda from INC got unanimously eleted from ward no.5 6. Sri Altaf Kharuri Mohiddin, Independent Candidate won against Mohiddin Damudi another Independent candidate with a margin of 58 votes from ward no.6 7. Zareena Mohammed Gouse, Independent candidate won against BJP candidate Madival Umanath with a margin of 117 votes from ward no.7 8. Pascal Gomes Independent Candidate won against Victor Gomes, Independent candidate with a margin of 5 votes from ward no.8 9. Shabeena Shingeri, Independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward.9 10. Khan Farzana Banu candidate from INC won against BJP candidate Rajavati Naik with a margin of 19 votes. 11. Raghavendra Sheet BJP candidate, won against INC candidate Venkatesh Naik with a margin of 15 votes. 12. Nature Abdul Rauf, INC candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.12 13.Asiya Siddibapa, Independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.13 14. Smt.Rubeena, independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.14 15. Mohan Naik, Independent candidate won against BJP candidate Kumar Naik with a margin of 380 votes. 16.Mohammed Kaiser Mohtesham, independent candidate got unanimously elected from ward no.16. 17.
