First in Bhatkal; Government school gets painted as train to attract more students

Bhatkal 28 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In a bid to attract students towards learning, a government school here at Mud-Shirali of Bhatkal has come up with an innovative idea and painting the school themed as train.
This is the first government school of the taluk which has come up with this theme to attract students towards learning and increase the numbers of students studying there.
The class rooms depicts compartments of train from a distance and has doors and windows of the train.
The school which was constructed in the year 2006, currently has a total strength of only 36 students.
A local resident Dinesh Devadiga from Mavinkatta of Shirali has painted the entire school as a railway compartment. The school will re-open with in a week after painting the school campus as railway platform.
The Heble gram panchayat is looking after all the expenses of the renovation of the school.
School Principal Manoj Shetty while speaking to media said, "The school has been painted with a railway theme to attract students to join Governmnet schools here. The gram panchayat has also taken a special interest for the painting activities" he added.
