Case filed against VHP’s Sadhvi Balika for inflammatory speech

Kasargod: The police have filed a non-bailable case on April 30 against Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sadhvi Balika Sarawathi for allegedly making an inflammatory speech at the Hindu Samajotsava held in Badiyadka. The case has been registered against Balika Saraswathi, a native of Madhya Pradesh for allegedly making provocative speech. Police have charged her of hurting religious sentiments and inciting communal violence. Following her controversial speech, some organisations had requested the district police authorities to act against her and submitted a complaint to the Superintendent of Police (SP). Badiyadka Police registered a case based on the directions issued by the SP. Source:News Karnataka
