Bhatkal police helps woman in getting married to her lover

Bhatkal 27 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Police on Sunday helped a frustrated lover who was in love with a guy for about last five years, to get married to the boy, as she approached Police department seeking their intervention as her marriage proposals were being delayed by the boy. Hemavathi Naik (20), a resident of Purvarga locality of Bhatkal, was in love with 23-year-old Raventh Naik of Hanuman Nagar since their college days for about five years. The woman along with her family on Saturday reached Bhatkal town police station and sought the intervention from the cops as her marriage proposal was allegedly being turned down by her lover. The police then called Raventh and his family to the station and discussed the issue between the two parties. As things were not being sorted out, the police on Sunday brought the couple at the Nichalamakki temple and got them married. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/Rizwan Gangavalli)
