Bhatkal: Police department hosts public meeting to improve public relations of the department

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 30 July 2017: Bhatkal Police department today organized an meeting with the locals of the town in an attempt to improvise the public relations of the police department. The event which was organized at urban bank hall was attended by the Superintendent of Police (SP) Karwar district Vinayak Patil. Patil while addressing the meeting spoke about how the public relations and the co-operation by the locals to the police department plays an important role to ensure law and order and towards bringing down the crime rate. He also spoke about the BEAT system and the importance of the awareness about the BEAT systems among public. He further assured people of investigating the drugs paddling case in Bhatkal and said the culprits or anyone involved in the racket will be brought to justice. TMC President Sadiq Matta, Kannada Sahitya Parishad Bhatkal president Gangadhar Naik, Reporter Radha Krishna Bhat, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Vice president Inaythullah Shabandri and other addressed the event on how the public relations and the working of Police department can be improved in Bhatkal.
