Bhatkal: Nawayath Mehfil clarifies on rumors regarding its General Secretary being associated with Karnataka Nawayath Sangha

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal 31 Aug 2017: Going by the rumors on social media surrounding the General secretary of Nawayath Mehfil Sadiq Asarmatta being the general secretary of the Karnataka Nawayath Sangha, hence questioning his credibility at the office of Nawayath Mehfil, the organization today organized a press conference and cleared the air. Sadiq Asarmatta, who himself was present at the press conference denied all the charges of him being associated with any such organization named Karnataka Nawayath Sangha. He further clarified that the reports naming him to be the Gen. Secy. of Karnataka Nawayath sangha are actually published in the newspaper which were reporting a recent inauguration of a shop in Mangaluru where he was invited as the chief guest to cut the ribbon of the shop. The media had reported the ‘Nawayath Mehfil’ as ‘Karnataka Nawayath Sangha’ which had caused all the confusions and rumors. The office of Nawayath Mehfil also clarified that it has no association with any such organizations and its members too had no such intentions to be part of any other organizations currently. The recent reports in the media claiming Sadiq Asarmatta as the Gen. Secy. of Karnataka Nawayath Sangha had created confusions among people especially on social media, and the social media brigade had a field day after the reports went viral. But later it turned out to be wrong reporting of some media who mentioned ‘Nawayath Mehfil’ as ‘Karnataka Nawayath Sangha’
