Bhatkal: MLA Sunil Naik instructs contractors to finish pending work in Jali Patan Panchayath limits by January 30

Bhatkal 2 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal-Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik on Sunday paid a visit to various locations of Jali Patan Panchayath limits and enquired about the pending developmental work in the limits. Prior to his visit to the residential areas, Sunil held a meeting with Jali Patan Panchayath President Syed Aadam Panambur and shared ideas on various issues. Sunil expressed his disappointment over the pending developmental work after locals alleged that the work sanctioned before the Karnataka Assembly Election earlier in May this year was still pending and uninitiated. Sunil ordered the contractors to finish all the pending work before January 30, 2019, and warned them that failing to which they will be blacklisted and barred from getting any more contracts/tenders from the administration. He alsi urged Syed Aadam to fasten the process of securing the land sanctioned by the office of Deputy Commissioner for the construction of Jali Patan Panchayath office and asked him not to let this opportunity go. Jali Patan Panchayath Chief Officer Venugopal Shastri, Engineers, Contractors and other Councillors were present on the occasion. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
