Bhatkal: Marikamba festival comes to an peaceful end

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Bhatkal July 21, 2017: The Marikamba festival of Bhatkal came to an peaceful end on Thursday after it was disbursed into the Karila sea shore in the evening. People started queuing up at the temple early in the morning for performing pooja, and later in the day at 4.30 pm the idol was taken out with the rally which went through National highway and Shamsuddin circle before reaching Karikal amidst tight security by policemen under the supervision of Dy.SP Shivkumar and CPI Suresh Nayak.
