Bhatkal: Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem organises patriotic songs competition

Bhatkal 16 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) To mark the 72nd Independence day of India, Mahlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal on Wednesday organized a patriotic song competition for the students of local Urdu medium schools here at the Tanzeem office Bhatkal. Ex-Prinicipal of Anjuman Degree college Prof. KC Nazeer was the chief guest of the event, while Principal Jamia Islamia Bhatkal Moulana Maqbool Kobatte was the guest of honor. The competition was divided into two categories between Urdu Patriotic songs and Nawaiti Patriotic songs whereas an age restriction for the participants was set for below 16 years. Several students representing their respective schools participated in the event and presented patriotic songs. In Urdu category Ali Public School bagged third place, Jamia Islamia Bhatkal secured second place while Naunihal Central School emerged winner of the category. Meanwhile in Nawaity category Ali Public School secured third position, IUHS Nawayath colony secured second place while Jamia Islamia Bhatkal emerged winner of the category. Vice President of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Inayathullah Shabandri presided over the event, prominent personalities like Qazi Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal Moulana Khaja Akrami, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem General Secretary Altaf Kharuri, Secretary Moulana Yasir Barmawar, Sadiq Asarmatta, Salik Barmawar, Dr. Haneef Shabab, Prof. Abdul Rawoof Savnur and others were present at the event.
