Bhatkal: BIFA organizes Sports Carnival at Jali Beach

Bhatkal 10 May 2017: Bhatkal Inter-Football Association (BIFA) on Tuesday organized an sport carnival at Jali beach for youngsters which consisted of several games challenging their both mental and physical fitness at both individual and team levels.
Several games including Swimming, Climbing coconut trees, running, and brain teasers quiz for individual level which had more than 30 participants while the teams events consisted of games like Gold Sea, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Dig the hole and other games where a total of 6 teams participated. Team ‘Fantastic Five’ won the championship while UFC Gym and Team PNB remained runners up. Ansar Channa was eventually awarded the best player of the event award.
Bhatkal Police Inspector Suresh Naik was the chief guest for the event while Hifzur Rahman Barmawar, Abdullah Sukri, Nazir Kashimji, Moulana Abdul Ahad Fakerdey were also present at the event.
A special permission was sought from the coastal security guards for the games after which the carnival was organized. Hibban Shabandri, Mawiya Mohtesham, and Prof, Ahed Mohtesham played important roles as coordinators in making the event successful.
