Bhatkal: Al-Hilal Association hosts Eid Milan program

Bhatkal 21 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Al Hilal Association on Saturday 21 July organized an Eid Milan get together program for all its members at the Mango Farm resort here in Bhatkal.
The event was attended by JD(s) leader and Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Vice President Inayathullah Shabandri and Bhatkal TMC President Sadiq Matta as chief guest and guest of honor respectively.
The event began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Hafiz Sulaiman Armar and Al Hilal anthem by Moulana Umair, followed by felicitation of several of its members for their achievements and services to the association and the community.
Abdul Rahim K and Muazziz Kola were among the members who were felicitated for their social services.
Speaking on the occasion Inayathuallah Shabandri, lauded the efforts of the association and its members over the years and the way they have managed to excel in social services whenever and wherever the community felt the need of voluntary services. He further claimed that he has a special attachment with the Maghdoom colony, (where the association belongs to) and said he had in past served the ward their as the Municipal Councillor while offering his open support to the association and the people of Maghdoom colony. His speech was followed by loud cheers and slogans supporting the veteran leader who had withdrawn his name from the recent Karnataka assembly elections even after securing the ticket from JD(s) after not securing support from Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem.
TMC President Sadiq Matta congratulated the association for organizing the event and bringing together all of its members to showcase unity among them.
The most interesting part of the event however remained to be the raffle draw where a Honda Bike (1st Prize) Refrigerator (2nd Prize) and a washing machine (3rd prize) was up for the lucky winners along with 20 other prizes.
The event concluded with the presidential remarks of Moulana Shabbir Gangavali, president of Al-Hilal Association.
Al-Hilal Gulf Committee General Secretary Zahid Amri, TMC ward Councillor Abdul Rahim K were also present on the dias during the event.
