Ahmedabad, May 16,2017: The daughter of an autorickshaw driver studies hard and scores 99.52 per cent in her Std XII Science exams. Amazing, right? This could have been a truly inspirational tale, if not for one hurdle: NEET. Farhana Bawani is unhappy that NEET has the potential to end her dream of becoming a doctor. Despite limited resources, her family has always supported her dream to study. In fact, they even built her a separate room so she could study without being disturbed. She would spend five to six hours each day with her books, she told I Am Gujarat. "As exams drew near, I studied more than 10 hours," she said. But she is worried that all her efforts will be in vain due to NEET. Farhana did her studies in the Gujarati medium and that affected her performance in NEET. "There were lots of translation errors in NEET's question paper, so I could not understand some questions properly. I couldn't perform as per expectations," said Farhana. "As the merit of CBSE and GSEB would be common, I am not sure whether I would get an admission in MBBS or not." Source : Ahmedabad Mirror
