Annual day celebrated at New Shams School Bhatkal

Bhatkal 28 December 2016: New Shams School Bhatkal today organized it annual day, at its Syed Ali campus; Syed Khaleel ur Rahman was also present at the event as chief guest. Syed Khaleel ur Rahman in his address asserted that mothers play the vital role in the upbringing of an student and advised them to be focused on their role of being the first teacher of a child.
Karnataka Minorities commission chairman MA Abdul Gafoor was also present as guest for the event, who was all praises to the management of the school for successfully running an English medium institution, he also advised the students to always follow the way of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in every run of the life.
Several Awards and prizes were distributed among students and teachers, Raza Manvi who has been teaching at the school for past 20 years was awarded with the Best Teacher Award, while the best student award, the most prestigious award of the Institution Najm-e-Ikhwan was awarded to Asbah Udyawar. Several other awards including ‘Pride of Shams Award’ were also distributed.
Gen. Secy. Talha Siddibapa presented the annual report of the school, Raza Manvi introduced guests to the audience.
Shams Alumni felicitated Syed Khaleel ur Rahman for being awarded an Doctorate degree by an international university. The innaugral event came to an close at around 1.30 pm which was shortly followed by Entertainment and cultural events by the students.
